It is the first time in the history when a CM is staying at home during an election, says Tejashwi Yadav.

Patna April 18: Leader of opposition in Bihar assembly Tejashwi Yadav took a dig at Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and said that he is staying home at a time when election campaign is at its peak in the state.
While interacting with the media persons in Patna on Thursday, Tejashwi Yadav said: “This is the first time in the history when a chief minister is sitting at home while the Lok Sabha election campaign is underway in Bihar. Such a thing did not happen in the past. We cannot say whether he is staying at home on his own or some person forced him.”
“CM Nitish Kumar is a respected person to me. I was working with him like a son during the grand alliance government but two to three people around him misled him for their own wasted interest. Even, they are not allowing the ground and administrative reports to reach before him,” he said.
The opposition leaders in Bihar are raising this point ever since CM Nitish Kumar did not participate in the rallies of PM Narendra Modi in Gaya and Purnea on April 16. In Gaya, Jitan Ram Manjhi is a candidate of NDA and contesting on the ticket of Hindustani Awam Morcha Secular (HAMS) while in Purnea, Santosh Kushwaha is contesting as a NDA candidate on the ticket of JD-U. Nitish Kumar not went for the campaign of his own party candidate in Purnea.
