Patna, October 8, 2025: With seat-sharing discussion in the NDA entering the final stage, Chirag Paswan, the Lok Janshakti Party Ram Vilas (LJPRC) chief, on Wednesday said that talks are progressing smoothly and there is no conflict within the alliance over seat-sharing.
“The discussion over the seat-sharing is currently underway in the right direction, and the right decisions will be taken at the right time,” Paswan said.
Rejecting the media reports claiming his dissatisfaction, he clarified, “Some media organizations are spreading false news that Chirag Paswan is unhappy with seat-sharing. As soon as the final decision is made, the number of seats will be revealed.”
Chirag Paswan says he has only one vision and that is Bihar First, Bihari First:
“Accusing me of demanding seats is not right. I have only one demand, and that is Bihar First, Bihari First. Chirag Paswan is not angry over any post or seat,” he added.

Earlier in the day, Chirag Paswan, along with his mother Reena Paswan and other family members, visited his ancestral village, Shaharbanni in Khagaria district, to pay tribute to his late father and party founder Ram Vilas Paswan on his death anniversary.

He also shared an emotional post on social media, quoting his father’s guiding words.
“Don’t commit crimes, don’t tolerate crimes. If you want to live, learn to die, learn to fight at every step.”
“Papa, I pay my respect to you on your death anniversary. I assure you that I am fully committed to following your path and realizing your vision of Bihar First, Bihari First,” he wrote.

“The time has come to realize the dream you envisioned for the comprehensive and all-round development of Bihar. Fulfilling the responsibility entrusted to my shoulders is the purpose and duty of my life,” Paswan said.
