10.78% of voting registered till 9 am in Bihar.

Patna May 7: The voting in the five Lok Sabha Sabha constituencies of Bihar is currently underway and the election commission has registered 10.78% voting till 9 am on Tuesday.

The voting is currently underway in Jhanjharpur, Supaul, Araria, Madhepura and Khagaria Lok Sabha constituencies in the third phase.

Long queues were seen in the several polling stations in those five seats. Many first-timers and elderly voters were also seen in the polling stations.

The election commission has registered a maximum of 11.41% in Supaul, 10.97% in Araria, 10.41% in Jhanjharpur, 10.71% in Madhepura and 10.41% in Khagaria Lok Sabha constituencies.

In Supaul, BJP national spokesperson and former union minister Shahnawaz Hussain cast his vote at the polling station located at the executive officer’s office on Tuesday morning. He was seen in a queue to vote.

“I cast my vote in the morning without taking the breakfast. For me, first voting and then breakfast. This election will make India a superpower with the third-largest economy in the world. It will make the country stronger. I want to appeal to the people to step out from their houses and vote for the country,” Hussain said.
