Patna, April 17, 2024: On the final day of campaigning for the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav attacked the BJP, claiming that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been sidelined by his allies.

Tejashwi Yadav targeted the NDA over Nitish’s absence in the PM’s rally:

Addressing a massive rally in Aurangabad on Wednesday, Yadav said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to Gaya and Purnea on Tuesday (April 16), but CM Nitish Kumar was not there. BJP leaders are afraid he might say something, so they have asked him to stay at home.”

Tejashwi Yadav further alleged, “An election campaign is underway in Bihar, and the Chief Minister is staying at home. BJP leaders have hijacked him. Why is Nitish Kumar being forced to stay at home?”

Polling for the first phase of four seats will be held on Friday:

Voting in the first phase will be held on April 19 in four Lok Sabha constituencies—Aurangabad, Gaya, Nawada and Jamui.

Campaigning for these seats concluded at 5 pm on Wednesday.
