Tejashwi Yadav criticized the Modi government over the 8-anniversary of demonetization.

Patna November 8, 2024: Tejashwi Yadav took the opportunity to criticize the Narendra Modi government on the 8-anniversary of demonetization, emphasizing the hardship and failures he associates with the policy.

Reflecting on the impact, Yadav said, “Due to demonetization, many people lost their lives while standing in queues at banks and ATMs. It was claimed that black money and corruption would be eradicated, but today, corruption is at an all-time high. We pay tribute to those who lost their lives in queues.”

Tejashwi Yadav expressed confidence in winning elections:

Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition in Bihar, expressed strong confidence that the INDIA alliance would win all four seats in the upcoming Bihar by-polls and the Jharkhand assembly election.

Speaking to the media in  Patna on Friday, Yadav stated, “The Chhath festival is over now, and we are actively campaigning. We have great expectations and believe that we will win all four seats in Bihar by-polls and the Jharkhand assembly election.”

Yadav also took the opportunity to criticize the NDA government, asserting that the politics of hatred would not succeed in the region. He added, “The people of the country will teach them a lesson.

In preparation for the election, Tejashwi Yadav announced his plans to visit Gaya in Bihar and Koderma, Palamu, and Gharwa in Jharkhand on Saturday to further engage in election campaigning.

Tejashwi Yadav criticized Giriraj Singh:

Yadav also targeted Union Minister Giriraj Singh, pointing out the NDA’s unfulfilled promises regarding Bihar’s development.

He noted that despite long-standing demands for special state status for Bihar, the NDA has been unable to secure it.

Commenting on Giriraj Singh’s role as the Minister of Textiles, Yadav questioned his contribution to Bihar, saying, “Giriraj Singh is the textile minister, but how many textile parks have been established in Bihar?”

These remarks form part of Yadav’s broader critique of the NDA’s performance in Bihar, underscoring his view that the central government has not delivered on its promises to the state.
