Sanjay Jha strongly criticized Lalu Yadav for his claims to form the Tejashwi’s government in 2025.

Patna February 14, 2025: JDU working president Sanjay Jha fiercely countered Lalu Prasad Yadav’s claims that the Grand alliance would secure victory in the upcoming Bihar assembly elections and make Tejashwi Yadav the Chief Minister.
Speaking to the media at Patna airport, Jha dismissed
Lalu’s statement, saying: “Lalu Yadav has been out of power for 20 years because the public does not trust him. He has lost elections continuously 2005, 2010, the Lok Sabha elections, and even by-elections. The people of Bihar have been supporting Nitish Kumar for two decades, and this time too, we will win the elections with full strength. The next government will be formed under the leadership of Nitish Kumar only.”
The statement of Sanjay Jha came a day after Lalu Prasad Yadav said BJP would not come into power in Bihar as long as he is politically active in Bihar. He also said Tejashwi Yadav will form the next government in Bihar.
Sanjay Jha on Subhash Yadav’s statement:
Responding to Lalu Yadav’s brother-in-law, Subhash Yadav, Jha stated. “There is nothing new in what he was said. The entire state knows that before 2005, the misconduct in Bihar controlled directly from the Chief Minister’s residence during RJD’s rule. That is why the people of Bihar removed this misrule in 2005 and brought Nitish Kumar to power. The public has seen everything, which is why we have had their trust since in 2005.”
Sanjay Jha on President’s Rule in Manipur:
On Aditya Thackeray’s remarks comparing Nitish Kumar to Eknath Shinde. Reacting to Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray’s statement that the BJP might betray Nitish Kumar just like it did to Eknath Shinde, Jha hit back at him.
“Aditya Thackeray should consider his age before making such statements. Where Nitish Kumar’s age and experience, and where does Aditya Thackeray stand in Comparison? First, he should focus on his own party. Look at what happened to Shiv Sena in Maharashtra before commenting on Nitish Kumar.”
Jha’s remarks reaffirm JDU’s confidence in Nitish Kumar’s leadership, dismissing RJD’s claims while taking a dig at both the opposition and Aditya Thackeray. With the Bihar elections approaching, the political landscape is heating up with strong verbal exchanges between parties.
Sanjay Jha also spoke on the political crisis in Manipur, backing the central government’s decision, saying. “Everyone wants peace in Manipur. We fully support the Centre’s decision.”
Regarding opposition claims on the Waqf Board, Jha clarified. “The Central Government addressed all objections raised by the opposition in the House yesterday. I was present, and everything was discussed and included in the report.”
