Patna, November 3, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched a sharp attack on the RJD and Congress in Bihar, alleging that both parties have no connection with development and had pushed the state into Jungle Raj.
Speaking at a rally in Saharsa, Narendra Modi said, “Their dictionary is filled only with words like violence, cruelty, bitterness, misgovernance, and corruption. This is what they learned in the school of Jungle Raj. The RJD and Congress simply don’t understand the language of development. The NDA is identified with development, while RJD and Congress are identified with destruction.”
He said that because of the politics of revenge during previous governments, the people of Bihar suffered for years, recalling that there was a time when people in large parts of Kosi and Mithilanchal had to travel nearly 300 km to cross the Kosi river from one side to the other side.
“Today that journey has been reduced to less than 30km,” he said.
PM Narendra Modi highlighted the women’s empowerment initiative:
PM Modi also highlighted women’s empowerment initiatives and applauded India’s victory in the Women’s Cricket World Cup.
“This glory has been given to the country by daughters who come from small villages, farmers’ families, labour households and lower-middle-class homes,” he said.
He said schemes like Bihar’s Jeevika Didi campaign and the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana had boosted women’s economic participation, adding that around 1.40 crore women in Bihar had received Rs 10,000 each directly in their accounts.
Appealed to first-time voters:
PM Narendra Modi also appealed to first-time voters to support the NDA in the state.
“When I cast my vote for the first time, I wished that my vote should not go to waste. Your first vote should be one that forms the government. Your votes will strengthen the NDA government.”
With only two days left for the first phase of polling, PM Modi said voting in Saharsa and Madhepura will take place on November 6 and urged voters to give the alliance another term.
“Our resolve is that the youth of Bihar should work in Bihar and bring glory to Bihar. One vote for the NDA will help achieve this,” he said.
