Patna, November 28, 2025: The 25th foundation day of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) was celebrated separately on Friday by its two factions, Lok Janshakti Party Ram Vilas (LJPRV) led by Chirag Paswan and Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP) headed by Pashupati Kumar Paras.

Party four Lok Sabha MPs, newly elected 19 MLAs, and a large number of office-bearers and workers participated in the event.
The event highlighted the party’s 25 years of service, social justice, and commitment to the rights of Dalits and deprived communities.
However, the party’s national president and union food processing minister, Chirag Paswan, could not attend due to health reasons.
Pashupati Kumar Paras became emotional at the RLJP event:

Paras reaffirmed the party’s founding vision—fighting for Dalits, backward classes, minorities, and the oppressed.
He also mentioned the role of Dalit Sena in protecting the innocent from injustice.
Reflecting on the recent electoral outcome, Paras said that although the his party did not perform well, there was no reason to lose morale.
He hinted at unusual voting patterns, pointing out that around 1,22,800 votes were cast for 10 candidates in each constituency, suggesting something unusual occurred.
Despite this, he said he respects the public mandate. He also took a swipe at political rivals, stating that the condition of the Grand Alliance parties in Bihar is even worse
Call for revival:
Recalling the difficult phase of 2009, when all three brothers lost elections.
Paras urged workers not to give up.
He said the party would now focus on strengthening its presence at the village level and fight the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections with full energy.
