Lalu Prasad Yadav had the feeling of disrespect for Karpoori Thakur.

Patna: JD-U MLC Neeraj Kumar claimed that Lalu Prasad Yadav always had the feeling of disrespect for Karpoori Thakur. He did not do anything for him.

While uploading documents of Bihar assembly on his social media account X on Saturday, Kumar said: “Lalu Prasad Yadav was the MLA from Sonpur. At once, the then deputy speaker of Bihar assembly Sheonandan Paswan had written a letter to Lalu Prasad Yadav and requested him to send his jeep to bring Karpoori Thakur in the house. Lalu Prasad replied to him that his jeep had not enough fuel. He was chief minister of Bihar twice, why is he not purchasing a vehicle.”

“Neeraj Kumar also said; “Today is a historic day for every Bihari people when Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur was given Bharat Ratna by the president of India Draupadi Murmu. On the other hand, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav always had the feeling of disrespect for Karpoori Thakur and extremely backward caste people of the state.

“I want to ask a question to RJD to refute the documentary evidence I presented in the public domain. RJD is free to take legal action on me if I am wrong,” Kumar said.
